I'm a Frontend and Backend Web Developer, native to Denver, Colorado. My design aesthetic is minimalistic, my graphic design is influenced by years of skateboarding and the beauty we get to witness daily here in Colorful Colorado. My code is efficient, and my knowledgebase expansive. I have a knack for solving problems, and a thirst for gaining new knowledge. If you see something here you like, be sure to visit my Contact page to get in touch with me.
As Lead Software Developer, I built an order management system from scratch using CakePHP. As HTML Developer, I spent five years at two, top-ten digital marketing agencies, building emails, landing pages, and microsites for very high profile clients.
Before starting my career, I went to school for a really long time. To show for it, I possess a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, with a minor in History, a bachelor's degree in Interactive Media, and a certificate in the administration of the operating system Linux. In addition, I have “a degree from the University of Life, a diploma from the School of Hard Knocks, and three gold stars from the kindergarten of getting the shit kicked out of me” to quote Blackadder.
Aside from spending an inordinate amount of time staring at a screen, I have also skateboarded for many years. I consider it my fountain of youth, as well as inspiration for much of my creativity. In fact, I still ride a skateboard to this day—I just don't do tricks anymore. I also spend a lot of my time admiring various forms of art, as well as creating my own that I place in spots for the public to view. Additional interests include music, photography, literature, cooking, and horticulture. I also like to head for the hills occasionally for a day of hiking.
